Wall Thickness
All of our garden rooms are fully insulated garden rooms with a superior, high-performance rigid foam in the walls and floor.
Why Is It Important
The thicker the wall the more insulation, providing heat-retention and keeping the room cosy in Winter, but cool in summer months. Good quality insulation ensures that your garden room or office will be a comfortable, welcoming space to enjoy all-year round.
We Use
A highly energy-efficient rigid polyisocyanurate as standard, super efficient thickness in the walls and floor and featuring a reflective backing which ensures heat is radiated back into the room. Within the ceiling we use a highly insulated roofing quilt, ensuring full coverage across the roof span.
UPVC Windows And Doors
Contemporary, hard-wearing and sleek, our thermo-efficient residential-standard windows and doors are double-glazed as standard for better quality. Whether you prefer French, sliding or triple-track doors, you’ll always get the same high standard of finish and performance with Cedar Rooms Garden Rooms to insure quality.

We Use
Weather-rated, double-glazing with aluminium powder coated frame in a range of fittings and styles, all with a multi-point locking system and excellent Uw Value ratings. We can also upgrade to triple-glazing if required with high quality.
Cedar Cladding
Our stunning cladding is crafted using only the best quality cedar, selected and locally milled to specific dimensions. This can be installed either with a shadow-gap design, or tongue and grooved design, depending on your preference.

The exterior finish of your garden room is of paramount importance and not only gives a striking first impression of your garden room, but also weathers beautifully and stands the test of time. This is why we build Cedar clad garden rooms as standard quality. A very high standard too!
We Use
Western Red Cedar with powder coated aluminium facias. Alternative cladding options are also available, ranging from larch to painted wood.
Plasterboard Walls
All of our garden rooms, offices and studios are finished with smooth plaster and painted finish, creating a clean, blank canvas for your own creative vision.

We believe the interior finish of our projects is just as important as the exterior and have seen many lovely garden rooms spoiled by suppliers using cheap plastic panels with unsightly joins. A professional, clean, high-quality finish is what Cedar Rooms endeavor to deliver on each and every one of our completed beautifully modern bespoke garden rooms, garden offices and of course our Cedar Room garden studios.
We Use
A plasterboard and plastered skim finish, painted in white as standard (other colours and feature walls can also be included on request).
Electrical Specification
Our trusted electricians work with our construction team to ensure that all of the electrical elements in your garden room not only work efficiently but are installed with a contemporary finish to add to the overall look of your garden room.
Why Is It Important
The small touches like brushed steel switches, sockets and lights, instead of plastic, really do make a big difference to your finished product. As we include extras such as wall mounted heaters as standard.
We Use
Brushed steel switches and sockets throughout, LED internal and external lighting and underfloor heating as standard. We can also offer upgrades to dimmable lighting, remote control lighting and security alarm systems.
